FLEX BOX semi-automatisk kasseopretter er justerbar og kan bruges til forskellige kassestørrelser L(200-600)×B(150-480)mm×H(120-500)mm. FLEX BOX semi-automatisk kasseopretter folder kassens nederste låg. Operatøren lægger kassen på maskinen og folder dermed automatisk kassens bag- og frontlåg og sender den til maskinen, hvorefter maskinen styrer kassen og folder højre og venstre låg. Operatøren lægger varer i kassen og folder kassens øverste låg. Derefter sender skubbeenheden kassen til en kartonforseglingsmaskine, som forsegler kassen øverst og nederst. Operatøren åbner en tom kasse og folder forsiden ud. Bagsiden foldes fra en 45° skrå vinkel ved at skubbe pladen.

Operatøren lægger kassebunden på den midterste styreskinne på kasseopretteren.

Operatøren flytter kassen i henhold til pilens retning til de nederste dæksler til højre og venstre for at røre ved kontaktpladen i bunden.

Den nederste cylinder skubber til styrestangen og bevæger sig fremad til den midterste styreskinne til klemmekassen. Samtidig roterer to cylindre højre og venstre foldeplade fra den lodrette retning til niveau, hvilket folder det nederste højre og venstre låg. Læg varerne i kassen efter at have afsluttet foldningen.

Som det fremgår af diagrammet, folder operatøren kuffertens øverste dæksler og trykker på, hvorefter han trykker på kontakten til skubbeanordningen (eller fodpedalen). Den cylinderdrevne skubbeenhed skubber kassen fuld af varer ind i kartonforseglingsmaskinen for at forsegle kassen.
